About Us:
Samford Road Day Hospital is a conveniently located, purpose built, freestanding private day hospital facility as part of the wider, national Monserrat Day Hospitals and Nexus Day Hospitals Group.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking 2 experienced, dedicated Medical Receptionist to Join our small team at Samford Road Day Surgery located in in Gaythorne:
- Part time position, approximately 30 hours per fortnight
- Casual position, approximately 8 hours a week + back fill for leave
The responsibilities of these support roles are quite diverse and include managing the day hospital admissions desk whilst also aiding with theatre list management, stores ordering, practice management services and liaising with various parties.
The person we are seeking is passionate about providing quality patient focused customer-service, in a fast passed environment, loves multi-tasking and excels in process-based roles, is organised and has great problem-solving skills!
The part time position has flexible options, working in school hours 3 to 4 days per week Monday to Thursday.
Essential attributes for this role...
- Previous experience in a Medical Reception role (preferably hospital setting)
- An understanding of Medicare & Health funds
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology
- Exceptional time management, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with passion for the patient experience
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team environment
