AddressFalcon Grove Medical Centre requires a Medical Receptionist to join our team.
Medical reception experience is preferred and highly desirable but not essential if you have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
The successful candidate will be initiallyemployed on a casual basis but may be given the opportunity to gain permanent employment.
Our operating hours are-:
Monday & Tuesday: 7:30am - 6:15pm.
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:30am - 5:15pm.
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Duties:
- Scheduling appointments
- Greeting, attending and registering patients
- Maintain confidentiality
- General admin duties - emailing, scanning, office maintenance, re-stocking
- Taking payment
- Liaising with Doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and specialists
- Assisting nurses with tasks when required
Requirements -:
- Ability and readiness to learn and work within a team but also autonomously
- Availability to work varied shifts within our opening hours, including opening and closing the centre alone and working half day shifts
- Capacity to work in a fast paced environment, prioritise and multitask
- Must be able to provide a police clearance on request
