Part-time person (effectively 2-3 days or approx. 16 – 24 hours per week on average) required for newly fitted-out specialist practice in a dynamic youthful excellent team environment for a start as soon as possible. This position has a primary role as receptionist but there may be opportunities to expand into administration, practice management as well as medical assisting, if the applicant desires.

About the role
Main responsibilities are for receptionist, appointment making, and billing as well as some administration. While previous experience is highly desired, the specifics of practice management along with practice software operation will be taught.
The requirement is presently for 2-3 days a week work, with the odd day off as determined by practice needs. Ideally, the applicant will be able to cover admin for leave on the other days, and we are looking for a flexible person who is happy to take leave without pay on certain periods of the year if statutory leave is exceeded.

Skills and experience
Please only apply if you have medical secretarial experience, as this is essential. Previous operation of medical practice software, e.g. Genie, is highly valued.
This is a fast-paced environment, and ideally will suit someone who likes to keep busy, as relatively quiet periods will be taken up with projects that enhance and build the business in this practice. You will be required to offer our team comprehensive supporting skills. You must be strongly outcomes-focussed and be able to meet challenging tasks in a timely manner.
Essential requirements to apply:
· Past medical secretarial experience
· Well-presented, with excellent communications in written and spoken English.
· Friendly and professional manner with exceptional eye for detail, communication and customer service skills
· Well-developed strategic, conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
· Independent working skills with resilient ability to accept and follow clinical and management directives as well as show initiative
· Excellent computer literacy
