Toronto Private Hospital is a premier 105 bed medical, mental health, palliative care and rehabilitation hospital situated on the western side of Lake Macquarie, NSW, on the hill overlooking the township of Toronto. It is centrally located and a 30 minute drive from the major cities of Gosford, Newcastle and Maitland.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, Toronto Private Hospital seeks an enthusiastic part time Medical Receptionist/Administration Officer with previous experience, for a minimum of 37.5 hours a fortnight plus leave coverage. Working in the Healthe Mind Clinic, the role includes but is not limited to:
- Greeting and attending to patients and visitors at the Reception and answering calls.
- Booking patient appointments, obtaining referral and organising ongoing appointments.
- Patient billing as required
- Liaising with hospital administration to arrange admissions if required.
- Supporting doctors with administrative support as required
- Provide timely and accurate information in response to queries by patients, visitors and other customers
Essential Criteria:
- At least 12 months previous experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced team environment and prioritise workload appropriately
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to show initiative
- Attention to detail
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in MedicalDirector Blue Chip software
- Experience in Clinic to Cloud patient management system
