Form of workPart-Time Medical Receptionist – 2 Days per Week (Monday and Thursday)
We are looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist with sound administrative skills to work 2 days per week in our busy Physiotherapy practice which is attached to an Orthopaedic Specialist practice. The days required are ideally Mondays and Thursdays.
To be considered for this position, you will have strong computer literacy, knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications including Outlook, Word and Teams and the ability to touch type.
You will also possess excellent communication skills and telephone manner, strong attention to detail and a positive, caring attitude towards patients.
An understanding of the workings of a medical practice including HICAPS, Medicare, Health Funds, workers compensation and DVA billing is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience with Gentu and medical typing transcription would also be a benefit.
