Keen candidates who are open to learning new things and be a part of a hard working team is urgently needed for our GP Practice located in Laidley.
Previous medical reception experience desirable (but not compulsory) , preferably in a GP practice. Experience using clinical and practice management software and good computer literacy. Training would be provided to keen candidates with no previous experience
-A good understanding of MBS billing items and their correct application Willingness and motivation to undertake training to maintain and improve skill base.
-Basic medical terminology Ability to embrace new initiatives Knowledge of the Department of Human Services, Medicare, WorkCover and private billing arrangements Interest in own professional development
-Demonstrated skills and experience using office equipment – e.g. multiline phone system, computers, photocopiers, printers, facsimile machines, scanners Ability to represent the Healthcare Practice in a courteous and professional manner at all times and in all circumstances. Ability to follow Practice policies and procedures Ability to follow changes in Practice policies and procedures Ability to work as a team member and treat all team members respectfully. Flexible approach to working arrangements and changing condition.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 48 months and ongoing
Salary: $27.50 – $29.96 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 HOURS per week
