Medical Receptionist/Administration Assistant

SA Medical Specialists is a multi-disciplinary medical specialist centre, servicing the South-Western region of SA by facilitating clinics from multiple metropolitan and remote locations with the Hove practice functioning as our main hub.

Whilst respiratory care is predominantly what we provide, we also have specialists that consult in the areas of Dermatology, Endocrinology, ENT, Gerontology, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology. 

An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time Medical Administration Assistant to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team where you will be valued and have the opportunity to showcase your outstanding Administration skills in an exciting and interesting environment. We are looking for a team member who is flexible to travel between our locations of Adelaide Health Suites in Parkside, The Summit Health Centre in Mount Barker and Hove. There is also an opportunity to travel and provide administration support to some of our specialists at our remote locations.

What will you be doing:

• General reception duties - answer incoming calls, meet, greet, bill and make patient appointments
• Scanning, faxing, emailing
• Managing incoming & outgoing patient referrals 
• Following up patients results, scans, reports etc
• Making theatre bookings
• Audio typing (preferred but not essential)
• Follow up debtors
• Ad hoc administration duties as needed
• Opportunity to assist with marketing etc if this is of interest
