Medical Administration Role for a Breast Surgeon

Our Business

Located in Camperdown, our practice is a single surgeon practice, providing services in breast surgery, including breast cancer, benign breast disease and reconstruction.

You will be working in an office based within a dedicated cancer hospital, with a focus on  giving patients the highest level of care in a professional and comfortable environment.

The duties and responsibilities are:

· Provide an outstanding level of customer service on the telephone and in meeting and greeting patients in a professional but compassionate manner

· Ensure an effective and seamless patient journey and experience 

· Efficient management of all patient data, appointments, procedures, clinical files, correspondence and accounts

· Management of patient invoicing and receipting of consultations and surgeries.  

· Coordinate surgery admission and hospital paperwork

· Coordinate additional tests with pathology and imaging practices

· Liaise with and maintain excellent working relationships with other medical professionals and hospital staff

Your Skills & Knowledge

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

· Previous medical administration experience is essential

· Experience with Genie/Gentu software is highly regarded.

· You are passionate about providing an exceptional level of customer service.

· You are meticulous by nature and always ensure everything is completed to the highest standards 

· Compassionate, empathetic and warm disposition

· A high standard of work ethic – self-motivated, pro-active, takes pride in work

· A brilliant administrator with excellent organizational and time management skills, able to multitask and establish efficient office systems. 

· Able to work independently
