SalaryA surgeon specialising at a busy practice providing specialist colorectal surgical care to patients across both the public and private sector is looking for a temporary Medical Secretary to work approx. 22 hours per week from May for 3 months at her Dee Why consulting rooms.
Hours are spread across 4 5 days per week with WFH options available 2 days.
Some flexibility may be required with hours to accommodate for the surgeons on-call commitments however this will be communicated clearly and with due notice. There is the potential to increase these hours and for a permanent position as her practice grows.
Consulting days will be on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Dee Why. In this role you will welcome patients to their appointment, invoice patients, answer incoming calls and patient enquiries, and upload consultation letters and documents into the practice software. You will also be responsible for liaising with the various hospitals regarding bookings.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will have had previous medical secretarial experience, excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills as well the ability to work in a team environment. Experience using "Bluechip" (practice management software) is desirable but not essential.
