Booragoon Eye Clinic is Perth’s newest Ophthalmology practice. Our lead surgeon has been in the area for almost a decade and has built up a large volume of faithful and friendly patients. We will look after our staff well and our aim is to make your work life fruitful and enjoyable as we partner to help people see better.
Qualifications & experience
- Secretary (preferably medical) with prior experience with medical billing software
- Proficient with Outlook, MS Office
- Excellent people skills
- Diligent, proactive and kind.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Secretary to a busy Ophthalmologist (eye surgeon)
- Calling and speaking with patients about their appointments and surgeries
- Ensuring accurate billing for procedures and surgeries
- Ordering prostheses for eye surgeries
- Liaising with Anaesthetists, day surgeries, pharmacies, other doctors and optometrists
- Must be willing to work in a team that is supportive and friendly
- Be able to multi task and ensure tasks are completed
