Responsibilities
Liaising closely with patients, you will see yourself completing the following tasks on a day-to-day basis:
- Liason with Medicare, other health care providers
- Providing customer service to patients attending appointments
- Supporting patients via phone and email
- Scheduling and managing patient bookings
- Completing day-to-day accounts and end of day reconciliation
- Sending out records/letters to referring doctors and interested parties
- Preparing surgical quotes
Requirements
- Prior medical receptionist/secretary experience (min 2 years preferably in a surgical practice)
- Experience with Genie/Gentu practice management software
- Experience with medical transcription
- Experience using Apple software
- Sound knowledge of the Medical Benefits Scheme and private billing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a flexible mindset to problem solve on the go
- Commitment to excellence and further development in patient care and customer service
About Us
Dr Phil Daborn is an experienced Gynaecologist and Urogynaecologist with over 14 years of expertise in private practice, located directly opposite the beautiful, leafy Perth Zoo. In a beautiful, federation building, our stand-alone practice has a clinical nurse available for support. You will be supported by a Practice Manager, Clinic Nurse and Dr Daborn.
