SalaryWe are seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication and Installation Leading hand, for a permanent full-time position, to join our team.
About the Role:
This role will involve supervising and working alongside a small Fabrication and Installation team, including apprentices, at our workshop in Bibra Lake and on-site. You will also be involved in:
- Managing members of the team to make sure projects are completed within the scheduled time.
- Reporting of progress to administration team to assist with scheduling.
- Liasing with clients to schedule/ confirm bookings.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
- Liaise with administration team to facilitate material ordering.
- Fabrication of steel doors and windows
- Installation of doors and windows onsite (Mainly)
Our doors and windows are a luxury item and therefore a sharp eye for detail and quality workmanship is essential. Please do not be deterred if you don’t know all aspects of steel doors and windows, as we will give you the knowledge required to excel.
What we require:
- Metal Fabrication Trade Certificate
- Eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Skills for operating workshop machinery
- Great attitude and reliable work ethic
- Strong ability to read and work from plans.
- Ability to work within a team or autonomously.
- Australian Drivers Licence C Class Manual Licence
- White Card
- Experience supervising a team or ready to take that next step!
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test, upon request.
