The Opportunity:
Due to the growth and success of our Brisbane office, we are currently searching for an Mid / Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team, based within our Mining, Infrastructure & Delivery division. Our team provides a range of Electrical Engineering design and project management services to mining and resources clients around Australia.
What you'll do:
- Working within a team of engineers to manage and deliver a broad range of mining and infrastructure design projects
- Project management of electrical projects
- Supporting the wider resources team and other teams within the company nationally when the opportunity presents
What we'll love about you:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn
- Ability to collaborate and be a team player
- Flexible thinker who can be adaptive to varying scale of projects
- An Electrical Engineer with exceptional proven relevant experience (mining, infrastructure, earthworks)
- Demonstrated design experience in:
- industrial LV reticulation and HV substation design
- Controls and instrumentation design
- Earthing and lightning studies and design
- Development of electrical design drawings
- Working with spreadsheets, PowerCad, PTW, CDEGS
- Technical review of team member deliverables and squad checks
- Prepare technical datasheets and specifications
- Experienced in leading a small EIC design team working with a multidiscipline team and project/design managers on medium sized projects
- Experienced in communication and liaison with clients
