Play a pivotal role in SA Health as a Midwife - Quality, Safety and Risk Systems Facilitator!
About the Role:
As the Midwifery Quality, Safety and Risk Systems Facilitator, you will be required to:
- Keep up to date with professional and best practice standards of practice across key specialties of the Womens and Childrens Division, implementing and monitoring evidence based on practices and technologies and quality and safety initiatives.
- Lead, develop and foster a positive work culture which is based on SA Public Sector and SALHN values and promotes patient / client focussed service, learning and development, Safety and welfare of employees, acknowledges differences, and encourages creativity and innovation.
- Supporting managers/stakeholders and medical staff to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical practices aimed at improving patient Safety and quality outcomes.
About you:
- Registered of eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia who holds, or is eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
- At least 3 years (clinical) experience post registration as a Midwife.
- Demonstrated Experience in project management and/or quality improvement roles.
- Demonstrated experience in management or leadership roles.
- Proven sound skills in leadership project and change management.
