Key responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Feed mill Operator to join our team based at our Enfield site. You will be working with a small team to ensure smooth running of animal feed production, and help us maintain our high standard of quality.

Main responsibilities of this role include:

• Conduct daily bin readings for grain and finished feed bins
• Clean spray booth shed, warehouse area and external areas of Mill as required
• Monitor basement bulka bags and vacuum bins, emptying them as needed
• Ensure all raw materials received meet specified standards, and sample and test when required
• Walk to line if there is a system failure to check for faults
• Notify supervisor of low-level raw materials and maintain a safe operating environment
• Assist loading and unloading of incoming trucks as required
• Maintain clean working space at all times

What we are looking for:

• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• High level of physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks
• Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
