SalaryMSM Milling is looking for a Operations Support (Oil) who will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely dispatch of oil to our customers and managing the oil tank farm to ensure quality and reliable delivery.
It's a full time employment as per those set out in, the in-effect MSM Milling Employee Collective Workplace Agreement.
Main tasks will include:
- Execute the loading of bulk road tankers according to a detailed schedule.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality control while loading.
- Manage the filling of large formats and oversee correct labelling.
- Understand and demonstrate the importance of Chain-of-Responsibility in heavy goods transport.
- Attention to detail is critical when completing administrative tasks i.e., Quality results.
- Completion of all relevant paperwork for orders.
- Hold and maintain valid driving and HR/HC license.
- Undertake meal truck load outloads as required and dust suppression water spraying if qualified, trained, and authorised
- Highlight any defects identified during loading/unloading and driving vehicles.
- Drive MSM trucks for general collection and delivery RM, Ing, FG etc. on flexible weekend basis and if qualified and authorised to do so.
- Ensuring goods are safely secured and all safe loading limits not exceeded.
- Vehicle kept in good condition and specifically daily safety driver checks.
- Willingness and skills to perform mechanical maintenance on trucks and trailers.
- Loading and unloading the vehicle safely.
- Planning and taking the most effective routes to your destination.
- Assist with Operations Support when required.
- Provide feedback of faults or breakdowns at the tank farm.
- Report any breaches / incidents that occur.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driving and HR/HC License (HC preferred)
- Preferably Mechanical Maintenance Certified
- School Certificate or equivalent
