ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Mine Site Operator / Labourer, you will operate a skid steer, drive a truck and sort waste at the site.  

On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to operate a skid steer (and other heavy machinery), processing recovered cardboard for recycling and general labouring duties.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

You will enjoy family friendly hours – no more long haul, DIDO or FIFO, as well as great pay rates - particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends!  Early starts (between 5am-8am) and early finishes. 

DUTIES:

• Maintain continuous workflow with respect to operating at various work stations within the facility
• Operate Skid Steer 
• Coordinate drivers 
• Perform driving duties as/when required 
• Establish and manage relationships with customers, team members and others as required
• Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement

ABOUT YOU:

• Fork Lift licence - ideally skid steer
• HR licence - preferred / or willingness to obtain
• Show interest and enthusiasm in a long-term career at JJ’s
• Reliable; we are an essential service industry 
• Dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
• Dubject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Well-developed people and relationship skills
