Northern Star Resourcces are seeking for driven Mine Surveyorsacross our Yandal operations. These roles are FIFO ex Perth or DIDO ex Kalgoorlie on a rotation of 8 days on 6 days off.
The Mine Surveyor reports to the Senior Mine Surveyor, and the primary role is to assist with both underground and surface mining operations, including surveying of designed drill holes, surveying of completed works and issuing accurate survey plans in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Survey mark out of:
- Drill and blast rings
- Exploration drilling.
- Mine heading development.
- Raise bore drilling
Survey of completed works:
- End of month development and ore stockpiles.
- Mine heading development.
- Geological mapping.
Survey Plans:
- Survey Instructions; horizontal and vertical development
- Emergency Response Plans.
- End of month surveys.
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying or partial completion thereof.
- WA Mine Survey Authorisation Grade 1 or 2 (Highly desirable).
- Experience in Underground or Open Pit mine surveying.
- Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
- Computer literacy with the ability to use Deswik.
