BenefitsTask & ResponsibilitiesAs an integral member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the owners to oversee all aspects of cropping and flock management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and coordinating Crop and Livestock production.
- Breeding and raising livestock for meat and wool, and cultivating grain and seed crops.
- Monitoring and maintaining livestock health and condition.
- Providing adequate pastures and fodder to ensure optimal nutrition.
- Implementing sheep breeding programs.
- Directing general farming activities including fertilization, pest and weed control.
- Maintaining farm infrastructure, equipment, and water supply systems.
- Facilitating the sale, purchase, and transportation of livestock and grain.
- Keeping comprehensive records of farming activities and market trends.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- A Bachelor Degree in related field or 5 years experience can substitute for the qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in broad-acre cropping.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with livestock, including sheep.
- A genuine interest in farming and agriculture.
- Strong communication skills.
- Non-smoker.
- Police Clearance.
