Cropping & Livestock Farmer, Mingenew WA
Kilkerran Agriculture is located in the Midwest of Western Australia and is seeking a Full Time experienced and suitably qualified Cropping and Livestock farmer (sheep and cattle) responsible for the day-to-day operations on the farm, reporting to the farm owners.
Tasks as follows:
- Managing and undertaking the day-to-day operations involved in the growing of crops, including soil cultivation, application of fertiliser and chemicals.
- Management and operation of the John Deere Combine harvester, Air Seeder and MC truck.
- Collection, organisation, and presentation of farm records.
- Managing and undertaking the day-to-day operations involved in the breeding, raising and health of livestock.
Required Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience in Mixed Cropping and Livestock farm management, including the operation of seeding rigs, harvesters, boom sprayers, loaders, and all other associated broad acre machinery.
- Proven Proficiency in English communication skills.
- Sound Mechanical Skills, and proven Management skills.
- The ability to have or obtain a MC truck licence.
About The Role:
· Operation of broadacre machinery.
· Assisting with livestock production.
· General farm hand duties including repairs and maintenance, fencing and other tasks.
· Salary from $70000,00 - $74000,00/year.

· Must be experienced with operating broadacre machinery and all areas of livestock production.
· Ability to work in a team or individually.
· Honest and reliable – knows when to report issues with gear etc.
· Must be a non-smoker.
· Physical and mental ability to complete everyday tasks safely and efficiently.
· Willingness to adhere to farm safety protocols.
