BenefitsAnnual salary: $65000 - $70000
Task & Responsibilities- Overseeing the operation and production of diverse vegetable and fruit crops including strawberries, tomatoes, brussel spouts . . .
- Supervising and ensuring compliance with existing and future quality assurance (QA) requirements
- Detecting and reporting issues such as weeds, pests, and diseases affecting the crops.
- Using and controlling fertilisers and pesticides applied to each kind of plants
- Coordinating and executing farming operations, including fertilizing, watering, pruning, cutting, picking, sorting and packing.
- Cultivating and employing associated methods to maintain crop production for optimal growth conditions
- Keeping records of farming activities and monitoring market trends, requirements, and demand.
- Operating farm machinery and using equipments as required and in a safe manner.
- Collaborating with and managing international workers from diverse backgrounds.
- Forklift license would be advantageous, but they are not obligatory
- Following all work, health and safety guidelines in farm daily activities.
- BA in Agriculture or Horticulture or similar
- At least 2 year full-time experience in MIXED CROP
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and resolve issues
- Ability to operate a range of agriculture machinery
- Ablilty to use MS Word and Excel
