We have an exciting opportunity to join our mechanic team who service BINGO transfer sites from Tomago, through Sydney metro in Revesby, Auburn, Orchards Hill, Mortdale, Greenacre, Alexandria and further down to Kembla Grange. This role includes a maintained company ute for travel.
How are you important to us?
Our dedicated team of Mobile Plant Mechanics are responsible for maintaining BINGO's vast Mobile Plant equipment fleet by completing breakdown and preventative maintenance on excavators, loaders, rollers, dump trucks, bulldozers, graders, and crushers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertake scheduled preventative maintenance checks on our Mobile Plant equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and engine tuning.
- Daily pre and post start machine checks.
- Rotating, adjusting, and replacing parts and equipment where required to ensure greater efficiency in the machinery.
- Determine plant & equipment's condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests and identifying worn and damaged parts.
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components.
- Identifying faults in plant equipment and ensuring the correct repairs are undertaken.
- Maintain plant & equipment records.
What you bring:
- Heavy Mechanical trade qualification (plant or machinery).
- Previous experience in Mobile Plant equipment preventative/breakdown maintenance, fault finding and diagnosing.
- Ability to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, overtime and different shifts where required.
- Current and valid drivers' licence and flexibility to travel to different sites.
