In this dynamic role, you will be a crucial part of our team, providing essential assistance to maximize equipment availability, reliability, and productivity. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will collaborate closely with Komatsu Service Technicians in the field, acting as the next level of Technical Support when initial diagnostics fall short. Your expertise will also be instrumental in addressing ongoing reliability concerns and conducting failure analysis for our customers.

Roster: Monday to Friday based in our Fairfield Head Office, this role offers flexible WFH days however does require frequent travel to client sites across Sydney

Key responsibilities:
- Address technical problems promptly and professionally to minimize customer downtime
- Assist Komatsu Service Technicians in the field to enhance equipment availability, reliability, and productivity
- Ensure clear communication of work progress to both internal and external stakeholders
- Visit customer machines, document technical or reliability issues, and create comprehensive reports for further investigation and resolution
- Lead and complete continuous improvement projects within specified timeframes
- Assess machine reliability in various applications, working conditions, and environmental factors
- Ensure the professional and timely submission of technical reports through TSI/QTQA processes

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
- Previous experience servicing and maintaining heavy mobile equipment within either the construction, mining or utility industry
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Ability to build strong internal and customer relationships
- Always have a high standard of Customer service whilst always promoting Komatsu Products and Services
- A commitment to HSE by demonstrating safe behaviour at all times
