MS365 Product Administrator | Contract for 3 to 4 months | VIC Govt | Melbourne | Hybrid

Talent Street is looking for a MS365 Product Administratorfor a 3 to 4 months contract for a Victorian government organisation in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal strategy and architecture leaders and provide recommendations on Microsoft 365 platform development strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge related to the development and support of the Microsoft 365 product suite through engagement, communication, and documentation.
  • Facilitate engagement and collaboration in accordance with approved communication strategies and governance frameworks. 
  • Facilitate a champions user program for testing and rolling out new products and features.
  • Initiate and deliver regular user workshops and meetings regarding Microsoft 365 product advances and innovations.  Develop or contribute to development of job aids and training courses
  • Proactively identify process, technical or training issues and suggest and implement solutions
  • Develop, foster, and maintain effective working relationships with user groups, Microsoft and other supplier teams to deliver key Microsoft 365 products to agreed outcomes.
  • Coordinate vendors providing Microsoft 365 support services and projects within agreed Service Level Agreements. 
  • Assist the System Administration team in resolving end-user incidents/service requests from the Service Desk.
  • Assist customers and partners with configuration of onboarding tools and process technology.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite from a technical and business perspective, including all required tools and products.
  • Work with system administrators to provide and share technical issue resolution knowledge and deployment/adoption processes best practices.
  • Develop and prioritise functional requirements for new or revised features or enhancements.  Evaluating the preview to rolling it out to the users across Parliament. Make key decisions on priorities and design, and work to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned
  • Develop an understanding of business processes with an eye to applying Microsoft 365 to solve organisational business challenges.
  • Model Parliamentary values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, and leadership; and support and promote continuous improvement and organisational change initiatives as required.
  • Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures of the organisation and take all reasonable care that personal actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of others.
 

Looking for:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies and products (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Exchange) with demonstrated experience in the implementation (migration / onboarding) of these products.
  • Proven experience in the application of project management/business analysis methodologies and proven experience in the application of governance frameworks in modern IT and/or project environments.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across a broad technical and non-technical audience and an emphasis on stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence the use of technology to drive business improvements.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently as both part of a team and autonomously to meet tight and demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to solve complex technical or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge.
 

Desirable / Preferred:

  • Office 365 Certification and / or Microsoft Azure Certification or Project Management
  • ITIL Foundation or other appropriate qualifications which are directly related to the role
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive file sync, and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with Data Analysis using Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables, or other similar tools
 

Note: this role may involve working outside the normal spread of hours particularly during busy organisational settings and leave(s) may be restricted.
