Programmed are currently seeking Plant Operators for positions available in the Dalby region with our local client.
Successful applicants must be available immediately and be available for work on a 24/7 12 hour rotating roster - the role will entail work in the Agriculture industry and candidates will have the opportunity for career progression, development opportunities and all on the job training provided.
The Role
Operation of modern composting machinery and equipment
Plant maintenance and hygiene upkeep
Ensuring daily prestart and daily production recordings are up to date and accurate
Timely and accurate record keeping
Meeting daily/weekly KPI's
Assisting in the development & maintenance of policies and procedures
Adhering to all site policies and procedures
Maintaining a strong focus on Workplace Health & Safety
About You
Previous experience with tractors, loaders or other farming equipment would be beneficial
HRWL Forklift licence highly regarded
Works well autonomously and in a team
Reliable, conscientious, and motivated and possesses a strong work ethic
Eager to learn and grow knowledge base and skills
Advanced communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Remains level-headed under pressure
Good judgement & the ability to make timely practical and effective decisions
Happy to work as per agreed roster and shift depending on production needs for the manufacturing plant
