Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup National Dealer Relationship Manager?
As we continue to expand our operations across the country, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Fleet team as a National Dealer Relationship Manager.
You will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong rapport and relationships with key external stakeholders, including Fleet Managers, Sales Managers, Dealer Principals, and vehicle manufacturers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing manufacturer incentives, volume, and dealer buy-back contractual arrangements nationwide.
- Conducting ongoing meetings with manufacturers to discuss and review vehicle pricing, volumes, and associated incentives on a national level.
- Proactively seeking out and identifying new manufacturers to become viable partners for our 9 Month Buy Back program nationwide.
- Nurturing existing relationships to positively position the 9 Month Buy Back program with dealerships across the country.
- Engaging and evaluating dealers nationally for strategic alignment with the 9 Month Buy Back program and reciprocal business opportunities.
- Reviewing and negotiating key program items with dealers nationwide, such as vehicle pricing and supply availability.
- Conducting monthly reviews of vehicle stock volumes on a national scale to optimize stock utilization.
- Collaborating with Client Relationship Managers across the country to fulfill vehicle stock utilization.
- Ensuring compliance with privacy requirements and legislative obligations on a national level.
To excel in this role, you should:
- Demonstrated experience within the motor vehicle industry (dealerships or manufacturers) or related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and network effectively with key stakeholders on a national scale.
- Proven track record of growing business opportunities through partnership arrangements.
- Ability to achieve sales targets, drive results, and work autonomously in a national, sales-focused, and target-driven environment.
- Excellent judgment, decision-making, and data-driven thinking skills.
