Flexco is looking for a National Light Duty Manager to help us increase sales revenue and maintain customer relationships within the Australian market. In this role, we seek outstanding organisational and distributor relationship skills. The successful candidate will also be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs and is able to provide solutions accordingly. Ultimately, you will ensure our customers are provided significant value through our range of Light Duty market products. Through the utilisation of existing market data, you will develop sales plans and target under penetrated sites/industries including but not limited to warehousing, parcel, food processing and beverage.
POSITION SCOPE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining solid working relationships with distributors and end users by ensuring that their needs are met and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets through delivering support and value to our distributors/end users within an assigned territory.
- Analysing sales and market data to determine the most effective sales techniques.
- Developing innovative sales strategies to increase sales within an assigned territory across a wide range of products and industries.
- Conducting conveyor audits and site visits on a regular basis either in conjunction with our existing distributor network or directly with end users.
- Ensure our distributors are upskilled and trained on all current and new Light Duty products.
- Ensuring that brand awareness within an assigned territory meets company expectations.
- Monitoring competitors’ sales activity within an assigned territory and funnelling information back to marketing department.
- Proactively gather and communicate industry trends and customer needs/feedback with corporate Light Duty marketing and engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Relevant experience in a direct sales or marketing role
- Previous industry related experience is favoured
- High level computer literacy – Microsoft Office
- Current drivers licence
- Experience using a CRM system, SalesForce experience is a bonus
