Green by Nature is Australia’s largest landscape services company, providing award-winning landscape maintenance and construction services. We are rapidly expanding and are excited to invite a dynamic Payroll Manager to join our team to support our growth.
Role Overview:You will be responsible for the effective operations of payroll services for Green by Nature as we establish a centralised payroll function for our growing business. The role will suit candidates with a proven track record in leading a payroll function, able to recommend and implement continuous improvements and assist the company in making the right decisions as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 2500 employees in Australia.
- Oversee payroll operations in New Zealand, ensuring compliance.
- Implement and maintain efficient payroll systems.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and tax obligations.
- Complete PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover, and Superannuation payments.
- Lead and mentor the payroll team.
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate information.
- Resolve payroll issues and prepare reports for senior management.
- Conduct regular audits for data integrity and compliance.

Proficiency in payroll systems and the Microsoft Office Suite, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, are essential. A professional payroll certification is preferred.
