The position is responsible to ensure that the participating properties receive the appropriate levels of service such as ensuring the end to end timely processing of the payroll process, processing of employee benefits such as superannuation and leave, payment obligations for the participating properties, month end processing, as well as managing the payroll team. This role leads a team of 8 to process fortnightly payruns on ADP for 30+ hotels in 5 states around Australia.
Minimum of ten years experience working with the payroll professionMinimum four years’ experience in supervising or leading a small to medium payroll teamKnowledge of Federal and state wage award legislation and reporting requirementsIn depth knowledge of payroll related items such as superannuation, payroll tax and leave provisions across multiple states and territoriesADP and/or E-tivity Labour Management System experience preferred but not essentialAbility to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Professional suite (particularly Excel, Word)Ability to effectively communicate accounting information, policies, and/or procedures in a manner easily understood by the customer.
