Reporting directly to the CEO, this standalone position sits on the leadership team and works closely with the CEO and leaders across the business, providing commercial, strategic and tactical support to enable business success.Key focuses:
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to understand how P&C can add value in supporting the business achieve its goals;
- Develop and implement an effective P&C strategy, focus on foundational activities initially, enabling business success through fit-for-purpose processes and practices, to reach high levels of engagement, capability and productivity;
- Refresh values and EVP;
- In partnership with leaders, manage Safety programs, including WorkCover and RTW activities, building capability and enhancing processes and culture in this space;
- Build and develop capability through enhancing existing programs and implementing new ones.
A motivated and experienced P&C professional, your demonstrated success in greenfields environments, able to build and embed pragmatic people solutions, will be key to your success in this role.Additionally, you will demonstrate:
- The ability to flex between supporting strategic direction and rolling your sleeves up to be hands-on, depending on business needs;
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with a high service and relationship focus;
- Collaborative, with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build trust and engage a diverse audience with ease;
- Experience in building and supporting effective Safety processes and culture;
- Drive for results, solutions-focused with a strong commercial lens.
