The Opportunity
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an innovative sales leader to join our dynamic team as the National Sales and Product Manager. Reporting into our General Manager – RMS, this role can be based from either of our offices across Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne and will be a pivotal role within our Recruitment Management Services (RMS) Division.
As the National Sales and Product Development Manager this role will be responsible for consistent year on year growth within identified target markets across all service offerings, and day to day will:
- Develop and implement successful strategies attract both local accounts as well as large national organisations
- Ensure client/host retention, development and repeat business
- Lead and drive a team of National Industry Specialists to achieve targets and KPIs
- Ensure performance indicators, standards and contractual, legislative and regulatory requirements are met
- Continually undertake comprehensive and strategic analysis of the marketplace
- Preparation of high quality tenders and submissions
The key to the success of this role will be establishing partnerships and fostering collaboration with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. This collaborative approach is vital in ensuring a consistently high standard of performance to support businesses and communities, while also creating employment solutions that change lives for the better.
About you
You will be a driven sales leader with a customer centric mindset and the proven acumen to build and implement a sales strategy, lead a team and exceed targets that contribute to the growth of our RMS division. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated success in consultative and solutions-based sales and personal sales
- Demonstrated success in strategic long sale cycle account acquisition
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to influence outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to build business through targeted and effective marketing strategies
- Strong leadership and people management skills including the ability to motivate team members to achieve desired outcomes
- Strong IT and written communication skills
- Strong planning and financial system acumen
- Experience in recruitment, labour hire, group training (GTO), vocational education, apprentice and traineeship program management, or HR outsourcing would be highly regarded
- Experience within the IT, defence or construction industry highly regarded
- Current drivers licence or ability to travel
