NATIONAL SCHEDULING MANAGER - NEVERFAIL

NEVERFAIL SPRING WATER

Neverfail Spring Water is a great Australian success story and is a part of the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners group servicing approximately 70,000+ customers. The business was created in 1987 by a Sydney based entrepreneur called Harry Hilliam and his family. They lived on the Hawkesbury River and had a natural spring water source on his property called Neverfail as it "never failed to produce water, no matter how dry it got".

Fast forward to today and Neverfail is Australia's #1 spring water cooler business; it's an untapped gem from both a profitability and sustainability perspective and has significant possibilities to expand in the future.

Neverfail continues to lead the market in looking towards the future; this includes capital investment in systems and processes, simplifying and modernising our e-commerce platform for a better customer experience and becoming efficient and agile in the way that we service and deliver to our customers.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We have a fabulous opportunity to join our Neverfail team in this National Scheduling Manager position, where you will play an integral leadership role responsible for ensuring ongoing stock availability to our 50,000 Neverfail customers in Australia. This role will see you leading a team of 6 using your engaging and nurturing management style. We are proud to offer the flexibility of hybrid working, ideally three days in the office to ensure team collaboration and partnering with the broader business.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The role of National Scheduling Manager (Neverfail) will oversee the daily creation of optimised schedules by your team of schedulers and be responsible for ensuring that they are appropriately prioritised and in accordance with Chain of Responsibility.

This role requires a high level of complex decision making as you navigate and coach your team through choices each day using a dynamic dispatching program in order to deliver to our customers nationally. In addition to this, you will work with our external vendor to develop and grow how AI can support efficient use of trucks.

Leveraging your strong leadership and engagement skills, you will develop/improve scheduler engagement to drive further improvements in consistent execution of customer service and driver schedule creation.

You will also be responsible for resource capacity planning of our 100+ truck fleet nationally as well and your own team for annual leave, peak periods and state specific requirements. This will involve the collection, interpretation and management of resource data to share with key stakeholders in the business and in order to make final decisions on resourcing nationwide.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership effectiveness in developing people and managing a high performing team that delivers operational performance excellence and the ability to execute significant change programs.
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • Prior scheduling experience within Transport / Logistics / Operations
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamix or similar system
