Are you a thoroughly developed contract & project manager who has been involved in the workings of major projects in energy and sustainability?
CBR Recruitment is working with a leading renewable energy company to source the right people to help deliver and manage complex projects, something the company has been capably and reliably achieving for almost 70 years. They work in a range of areas, including sustainable power, renewables, gas and diesel, and cloud seeding. With such diverse work, there are an abundance of opportunities within the business.
This is a phenomenal opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Planning and Scheduling Manager to drive schedules and meet project objectives while collaborating with an integrated planning team and enhancing efficiencies. There are a range of responsibility areas for this role, including developing and improving project programmes, reviewing and reporting on programmes, providing project acceleration support, and acting as part of the leadership team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Joint leadership of the integrated Planning Team to verify and validate all data and configured information in the project programme.
- Lead opportunities to continuously drive efficiencies to benefit the programme.
- Support the chair (GM – Project Excellence) and collaborate and coordinate with construction managers and team members.
- Lead analysis, data and reporting for both regular and ad-hoc reporting.
- Support the governance team by overseeing the validation of dashboard data.
- Jointly lead to develop and test scenario plans.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement among planning team members.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, maintaining effective working relationships.
Candidate “Must-Have’s”:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering (or similar).
- A wealth of experience and knowledge surrounding large scale project management – preferably in the renewable energy sources space.
- Experience working in a project excellence leadership team, with construction managers, and risk, project acceleration and cost functions.
- High level experience with programme review, analysis and reporting as well as contract management or equivalent.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to analyse complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, report writing and interpersonal skills.
- Competent Office Suite skills, industry Planning and reporting platform experience would be an advantage e.g. Oracle Suite or Deltek, BIM software.
