Posted: 07/02/2024 Closing Date: 06/03/2024 Job Type: Permanent - Part Time Location: Cannington Job Category: Community Services and Development Job Description About the role Reporting to the NDIS Capacity Building Team Leader, you will be required to deliver high quality and efficient service by assisting participants to implement strategies to access supports and services including funded supports, community, mainstream and informal. This role is Part-Time working 60 hours per fortnight. Other responsibilities include; Strengthen and assist with capacity building skills to enhance participant’s abilities to coordinate support and services and to participate in the community based on their needs. Meet expectations according to service delivery performance guidelines. Critical incidents and other risk incidents are dealt with according to the Organisation’s Policies and Procedures and funding body requirements. Enquiry and intake for new NDIS participants as required. Review of NDIS client plans as required. Record and maintain NDIS participant records. Ensure all NDIS services are provided with the appropriate NDIS legislation, guidelines and funding framework. Maintain regular, positive communication and a working relationship with all external stakeholders. Positive and constructive work environment is promoted where employees are valued. About you To be considered for this role, you must have the following; A minimum of Certification IV in Mental Health or Mental Health Peer work or similar training and/or two years’ paid experience in supporting people with mental health distress?
