Bila Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as as Recovery Coach/Disability Liaison Officer. We help our participants make authentic, meaningful, and mindful choices about how to live.
Summary:
Successful candidate support and listen to each participant and their family, provide leadership to influence strategy and policy, deliver person-driven, flexible & responsive services to build a sustainable future and build on our foundation for success through our expertise in service delivery, workforce development and quality improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Participant Service Delivery
- Provide Support Coordination services to NDIS Participants working independently and as part of a team
- Assist during times of crisis with the ability to prioritise your tasks.
- Responsible for the development, quotation and
implementation of participant plans that meet Participant
needs and expectations. - Responsible for meeting the participants outcomes as
determined by NDIA measures - Responsible for timely and proactive management of all first
and second tier enquiries. - Responsible for awareness and allocation to programs and
relevant services - Responsible for meeting participant requirements for
accessibility - Be the liaison point between participants and third parties
(internal and external) to resolve any package/funding
related issues - Participate in planning/review meetings to assist the
participant to achieve the correct funding to enhance their
goals and required services. - Responsible for recording and informing management of any
concerns identified
2. Participant Administration
- Accountable for ensuring that all participant information is
captured, updated and maintained in the various
organisational management systems. (Hubspot and
Caremaster) - Responsible for managing ‘pending’ packages including
scheduling reminders to follow up previous quotes - Responsible for implementing and monitoring all internal
policies and procedures with regard to participants where applicable. - Responsible for the creation & monitoring of scopes
compliance requirements for consent & service agreement
documentation - Responsible for managing all contract ends and reviews for
participants
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Disability, Cert III in Individual Support or
relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience - At least 2 years of experience in Disability Care and in a leadership
role - A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid training
- Current CPR training
- Administration of medication training (or willing to obtain)
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate or Immunization evidence
- Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery of
customer support plans within a disability framework. - Sales and marketing experience desirable particularly in areas of enquiry mgmt. and/or engagement
- NDIS scheme funding experience
