mecwacare is seeking a NDIS Client Service Coordinator to assist in the intake and provision of a range of support services to promote the independence of NDIS Participants across metropolitan Melbourne. The Client Services Coordinator has as a specific role to provide initial intake, coordinate and roster appropriate staff to provide services to clients their home and community.

Essential:

• Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in NDIS services
• NDIS Screening check + NDIS Worker Orientation module
• Experience in rostering and care coordination desirable
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Computer literacy and the ability to use a database.

• High level of interpersonal skills and person centred approach
• Proactive approach to work and the ability to take initiative with tasks.
• Good communication skills, specifically the use of tact and diplomacy in difficult situations.
• Ability to build trust and confidence with clients, co-workers and external stakeholders.
• High level of organisational and administrative skills.
• A flexible and positive attitude to work
• Thorough understanding of client confidentiality.
