The Role: NDIS Support Coordinator
- Full time or part time options for the right candidate(s).
- SCHADS Level 4 -- $82,043 to $88,278 plus salary sacrificing package (SCHADS starting level dependent on demonstrated direct work experience).
- 76 hours FTE per fortnight
- Hybrid working arrangements after completing probationary period.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and support to NDIS participants, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Cultivate strong relationships with service providers, health professionals, and government agencies to seamlessly integrate services.
- Use your exceptional report writing skills to align coordination plans with participant goals and complete planning reviews efficiently.
- Ensure efficient utilisation of NDIS budgets to meet participant needs.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the NDIS Framework and Quality & Safeguards Commission.
- Contribute to team attainment of reasonable KPI.
Location: This position is based in Canberra.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong rapport-building skills with diverse clients, including people with complex support needs.
- Demonstrable professional history of working to support people achieve their goals and desired outcomes in a services environment such as the NDIS or similar.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
- Superior communication skills that build clear and empathetic relationships.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and / or directly related, extensive personal or professional experience of advancing disability inclusion.
- Committed to quality and high performance to achieve outstanding results for the people we support and our organisation.
- Working With Vulnerable People card, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and NDIS Orientation Module.
Desirable considerations:
- Minimum of 12 months experience as a NDIS Support Coordinator, Psychosocial Disability Recovery Coach or Local Area Coordinator.
- Valid driver’s licence.
