Network Engineer/Network Consultant

Enterprise IT Resources has partnered with a customer-centric organisation in the mid-north coast region of NSW, and we are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to relocate OR travel in/out of Port Macquarie on a hybrid arrangement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Industry qualifications in networking such as CCNP, CCIE etc
- Solid and demonstrated experience in configuring and supporting routers, switches, firewalls.
- Experience with WAN technologies
- Experience in design and delivery of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Security upgrade projects
- Familiarity with ITIL Framework
- Familiarity or experience with Zero Trust Network Access
- Experience liaising with external vendors.
- Experience with Cisco technologies.
Responsibilities:
Provide efficient engineering level administration, design, implementation, support and troubleshooting of network systems.
- Mentor and support junior staff and act as the last point of escalation within your field.
- Assist in the testing and implementation of Disaster Recovery procedures.
- Ensure all networking infrastructure is appropriate for the business requirements in terms of fit for purpose, capacity planning and licensing obligations.
- Liaison with managed service providers, telcos, and other external parties
- Respond to network connectivity issues and resolve.
Projects include:
- WAN review, redesign, and vendor engagements
- LAN and Wi-Fi Upgrade
- Firewall / Security platforms (review and upgrade)
- Network and System Monitoring solution
- Cyber Security Uplift (in conjunction with Cyber Security Officer and Systems Administrators)
Telephony and Contact Centre enhancements - Workforce Mobility (Satellite and other technologies)
- Cloud Migration (Network and connectivity - AWS experience is beneficial)
- CCTV Audit, Review and management
