The opportunity

The Delivery and Information team ensures the sustained health and maintenance of UniSuper's core systems and platforms - to provide high availability, stability and performance. We remain committed to partner with business units to provide business driven scale and simplification, guidance and delivery of the Enterprise Portfolio and technologies required to enable business capabilities and support the execution of UniSuper's Strategy.

• Help us achieve results by overseeing the operation and lifecycle of all infrastructure networking components for Cloud Platforms (Azure & GCP), VMware ESXi & NSX-T, Palo Alto Firewall & SDWAN Branch Office Network.
• Identifying and ensuring that complex networking problems are correctly escalated following published processes, using structured troubleshooting methods, techniques, and tools within published SLAs.
• Define monitoring requirements to oversee all networking infrastructure, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
• Provide feedback and input into Operational Handover documentation to facilitate a smooth transition for new and altered solutions.
• Providing escalated 2nd and 3rd level technical support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of issues relating to Network Infrastructure & Cloud services
• Documenting detailed system configuration for the purpose of quality, transparency, knowledge transfer and business continuity.
• Administration, support and maintenance of ICT services inclusive of Azure, Google (GCVE), and Data Centre hosted environments to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issue.
• Administration support and maintenance of SDWAN across our branch office network (HPE Aruba)
• Using ServiceNow to maintain and update activities in a timely and professional manner

About you

We are looking for an individual who has worked in fast moving transformation environment and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.

• Extensive experience and specialist skills in the configuration and maintenance of networking/communications infrastructure, including the ability to support a variety of technologies
• Knowledge and exposure to Palo Alto NGFW firewalls
• Knowledge and exposure to VMWare NSXT network technology
• Excellent understanding of Azure full-stack and operational knowledge in variety of areas including (but not limited to) AAD, RBAC, AKS, alerts and monitoring, dashboarding and operational health reporting, Azure Key Vaults, ALBs, Storage, virtual networks and security.
• Deep knowledge with Azure networking and security
  • Hybrid Connectivity, utilizing VPN and ExpressRoute
  • Implementation of VNET/Subnet/Peering
• Working knowledge of provisioning and managing Azure Infrastructure using automation - PowerShell, ARM templates etc
• Experience using Terraform to perform infrastructure as code a plus
• Knowledge and experience with Google Cloud (GCP & GCVE)
