Details: This role assists in the planning, design and implementation of Temporary Traffic Management plans for planned and unplanned events/incidents on the road network. This includes special events, traffic incidents, police operations, etc. The role requires a mix of office and field-based work with a requirement for overtime and on-call availability. The role involves contribution to the development and implementation of policy, procedure and technical documents relating to Network Operations activities.
This position requires a highly motivated person with exceptional time management skills and the ability to work autonomously or with minimal direction. The role requires well developed communication skills to ensure appropriate messaging is provided to emergency services; contractors; TCCS Traffic Management Centre (TMC); Community members; TCCS senior managers and Executives.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
⦁ Hold a relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management or accreditation with a professional body recognised within Australia; or
⦁ Hold a relevant building degree; or
⦁ Have significant building or Infrastructure knowledge and/or project and contract management experience.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
