An opportunity has arisen for 1-2 sales reps working with a small, fast growing business in the local Brisbane area (applicants must live within 20km of the CBD). We are looking for competitive, highly motivated and hard working team members to cover the full sales spectrum of lead generation (via door knocking, searching for leads and cold calling), closing sales and ongoing account management/customer service support.
This is a unique sales role, in that customers are retained ongoing and shipping regularly (meaning ongoing commission for you each month), whilst you will account manage the relationship and continue to search and focus on finding New Business (continuously building your customer base and therefore also your commission).
Whilst we offer an attractive base salary, the biggest rewards build over time (when your customer base is more established and commissions continue to grow, which are uncapped). Therefore a long term vision and commitment to the role ongoing is essential with full training and ongoing coaching support provided to ensure you’re successful.
What the job includes, and key talents needed
- Door to door canvassing and cold calling/tele sales, generating your own leads.
- Ongoing account management to retain customers by providing training, customer service and ongoing support.
- Attention to detail, the ability to self-manage and motivate yourself are essential.
- Update CRM system and company portals, track and monitor prospects, follow up visits and make presentations to customers (face to face and via Teams).
- Hit set targets and KPI’s.
- Excellent Communication (ideally you are a natural conversationalist and able to talk with all walks of life) whilst demonstrating high level customer service skills.
- Whilst sales experience (especially door to door and/or cold calling) is a bonus, we are looking more for the right attitude, cultural fit, and determination to drive yourself forward. This could well suit a self starter exhibiting resilience, determination, and enthusiasm.
- A true Team Member who works well just as well in a team, as they do in a solo position.
Essentials to the role:
- Competitive, goal orientated, self-motivating and highly driven with a positive can do attitude are key attributes essential to this role.
- Basic office skills for excel, word, PowerPoint and email etc.
- Full rights to work in Australia, this role is not suitable for holiday, temporary or student visa holders.
- Car owner, and in the Brisbane metro and surrounding areas (car allowance will be provided).
- Good internet connection and phone coverage as you will be working from home when not out in the field.
