This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic Student Accommodation Team in Brisbane, Queensland, at STUDENT ONE.
We are looking for a Night Managersomeone that is savvy and considerate, a problem-solving genius that takes pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. Working as part of the Operations Leadership Team, you’ll oversee Operations in the hours between late evening and early morning, rolling up your sleeves and taking responsibility for safety, service and ensuring we live up to our reputation as Brisbane’s Smartest Student Accommodation.
The successful candidate must be confident, articulate and possess an understanding of the Student Accommodation and/or hospitality industry.
Your key focus will be to:
- Supervise the front of house activities and operations at the Student One residences between night time hours.
- Manage and interact with the CCTV operations.
- Assist with the effective coordination of the resident's experience, including service level expectations and welfare requirements.
- Work as a team and contribute to the successful running of the Student One residences
- Respond to all phone calls and/or enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop external and internal stakeholder relationships while maintaining a creative customer focused culture.
- Work within a small effective team while working within a safe, secure workplace environment as per Student One Workplace Health and Safety policies and strategic goals.
Student One, Brisbane's Smartest Student Accommodation provider opened in 2016 and has been providing a smart accommodation choice in the Brisbane CBD for students ever since.

The successful candidate should also possess:
- The ability to work night time hours for shifts.
- A minimum three years' experience within a customer focused environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and a core understanding in StarRez or equivalent property management system or hotel reservation system.
- A passion for student welfare and safety.
- A current Queensland Government issued Blue Card allowing them to work with students (this can be obtained at the commencement of role).
- Proficient in conflict management.
- Able to prioritize, multi-task and keep organised within demanding times, holding a professional standard of customer service at all times.
