NSW Sales Representative

Pet Pacific the Premier Distributor to the Pet Industry in Australia.

Our Head office/Warehouse is located in Emu Plains at the base of the Blue Mountains and have been importing and supplying wholesale pet goods to the independent retail pet sector for over 55 years.

We are seeking an Sales Representative to assist our national sales force and large customer base. Reporting to the NSW State Sales Manager, you will be required to maintain face-to-face customer contact via store visits.

This is a Full time fixed term position which includes a fully maintained company car, iPhone and iPad.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be Sales focused, a self-starter and have excellent time management, communication and negotiation skills.

As part of our team, in this busy role your responsibilities will include:

• Data entry of sales orders into Opmetrix ordering system via iPad
• Customer interaction in store and via iPhone and email
• Assist customers with product information and training
• Process credits and returns via Mfiles application
• Promote Pet Pacific outstanding product range
• Overnight stays to meet rural customers (Approx. 3 to 4 nights per month)
• Set up and attendance of Trade shows (may include evenings and weekends)
• Other duties as required to assist in the smooth running of our business

The ideal candidate may have experience in a similar role, and have:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Be enthusiastic and eager to learn with the ability to adapt and take instructions.
• The ability to work as part of a team and also autonomously.
• Current Drivers Licence 
• Neat and tidy presentation at all times

Experience working within the Pet industry or in a Sales capacity will be highly regarded.
