Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Your Opportunity:
The Nurse Educator is accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of CHQRS nursing and medical education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues in meeting the strategic priorities of Nursing Services within Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS). The Nurse Educator leads and supports a culture of development and enquiry which actively encourages and facilitates clinical, professional, and organisational learning within a Supported Practice Framework.
You will work in close liaison with the CHQRS Director, Nurse Manager Retrievals (NM), CHQRS Fellow, PICU Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), PICU Nurse Educators and key senior staff to promote a robust safety culture and develop a highly skilled team that ensures a patient-centred approach to care.
