What you'll be doing
- Lead, direct and coordinate patient/client care within the MI department.
- Ensure the practice of nursing is safe and efficient, maintaining standards of care through continual quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate the nursing staff within the multi-disciplinary care team.
- Monitor the business and management nursing functions and processes of Medical Imaging, RNSH.
- Promote the Core Values of the Ministry of Health – Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) - NSW Registered Nurse – Division 1.
- Extensive recent post registration clinical experience in Medical Imaging or Acute Clinical Setting and a demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team displaying a high level of negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Relevant management tertiary qualifications or working towards the same, or equivalent extensive management experience, and demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and the ability to manage change, and demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence based practice and practice development.
