A unique opportunity within Clarence Correctional Centre where you will provide assessment and intervention strategies to support and manage patients at an advanced and extended nursing level. About the OpportunityThe health services at Clarence has 3 modern health centres that delivers appropriate standards of health care to approximately 1700 inmates from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You will provide leadership and advice as well as monitor and suggest recommendations on internal and external environment influences to ensure health services are able to meet patient needs.

What you’ll be doing Comprehensive and accurate assessment of patients including creating care plans
Write prescriptions for patients for particular medications
Diagnose and treat acute infections, injuries and illnesses where appropriate
Conduct and order diagnostic tests
Consult with patients about effectively managing their health, design treatment plans, recommending care and providing sufficient education About you - your ideal skills & experience Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRAMaster of Nursing PracticeMinimum of 3-years full-time experience in an advanced practice nursing role
