Nursery & Garden Centre - Nursery Hand / Maintenance/ General Back of House Duties

About the Position:
- Permanent part time/ full time position available 3-5 days per week.
- Award rates + incentives for the right person.

ESSENTIAL criteria:
- Forklift License 

- Physically Fit and Healthy 

- Reliable and have a desire to work

- Willingness to work outdoors and lift/move plants and products

- General handyman abilities

- Ability to communicate to staff and supervisor

- Able to follow instructions

- Punctual, Friendly and Positive Solution Focused

- Energetic Can Do Attitude

- Willingness to do deliveries

PREFERABLE attributes:

- Truck License MR an Advantage

- Spray Ticket an Advantage

- Prior nursery experience or plant knowledge preferred but not compulsory

- Live in local area to reduce commute time

- Current First Aid Certificate

- Non Smoker

Duties include:

- Irrigation Checks - cleaning and maintaining filters/pumps

- Mowing / Whipper Snipping / Hedging

- Spraying when needed

- Assist sales team with stock incoming/outgoing

- General nursery tasks

- General handyman tasks
