Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Member of Occupational Therapy Association Australia
- Experience in community based assessment and rehabilitation including basic equipment prescription, home modifications, service identification and sourcing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based Occupational therapy services to Greater Shepparton and surrounding communities.
- Home-based occupational therapy assessments, recommendations, and reviews for NDIS participants / HCP & STRC clients.
- You will be responsible for enabling people to participate in their day-to-day tasks and improve & their Quality of Life.
- Functional capacity assessments and recommendations for ongoing support to achieve set goals
- Home modification assessment and recommendations with relevant information
- Driving assessments
- Pressure injury risk reviews and management
- Equipment assessment, recommendations, prescription, applications, and report writing
- Ensuring all recommendations meet legal requirements of Australian Standards (where applicable)
- Maintaining high-quality standard documentation and paperwork
- Liaising with other health professionals to provide optimum care to our clients

Summary of role requirements:

- Expected salary: $65,000 - $120,000 per year
