Occupational Therapist

Your Life Your Way Occupational Therapy is looking for a new/recent graduate or a therapist new to NDIS to join our team. We are a passionate team of Therapists who want to help improve the quality of life of people living with a disability in our local community. This team is dedicated to working towards the best outcomes for participants through our caring nature, evidence-based practice and inclusivity. The role is part-time and based in the Southern Regions of Perth (Cockburn-Rockingham-Baldivis-Mandurah-Armadale).

The Role

Functional Capacity Assessments and Supported Independent Living Reports only. Your Life Your Way Occupational Therapy specialises in high quality, evidence based and participant centered reports.

Essential Skills And Qualifications 

• Valid ‘C’ Class Driver’s license and reliable car
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA Registration
• Police Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Senior First Aid
• NDIS Worker Screen
• Up-to-date flu vaccination
• 2 x COVID Vaccinations
• Strong communication skills 
• Patience and emotional resilience
• Desire to improve the life of another
• Able to adapt and stay calm in challenging situations
• Proficient with Microsoft office 

• Your own laptop
• Your own mobile phone (most participant communications will go through Your Life Your Way and not through you)
