Occupational Therapist

We are situated in Marsden Park, and our dynamic clinic houses a team specializing in Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Pathology. Excitingly, we will introduce Psychology services in 2024, aimed at aiding children and youth (18 months to 16 years) in fostering their play, communication, self-care, and academic skills. Benefits This opportunity has competitive industry conditions which include: Generous salary in the region of $110 - $140K Base + Super dependent on experience Earn bonuses based on reaching KPIs Option of Four workdays Full administrative support including reception, billing, appointment confirmations and reminders Appointment bookings are managed by the Admin team A supportive, flexible, and autonomous work environment including flexible hours Opportunity to be?part of an enthusiastic, supportive, and innovative multi-disciplinary team Professional development opportunities Team building activities/social events The opportunity: Undertake a split clinical and leadership role with OT and AHA direct reports and a varied paediatric caseload; Provide evidence-based assessment and therapy including a variety of assessments, providing direct and indirect therapy, liaising with families, teachers, professionals and support staff; Use your experience to develop and grow our multidisciplinary team to work together to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes; Lead through supervision and professional development opportunities, assisting staff with time management and organisation, development and procurement of clinic materials, and collaboration with leaders within the clinic to develop and grow our therapy service; Engage in service development, and programming and contribute to the professional development agenda and training program.
Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and full, current AHPRA registration; Experience as an OT or Senior OT in paediatrics; Desire to work with and support Junior therapists Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging. A desire to work in a multi-disciplinary environment with other allied health professionals such as Speech Therapists and Psychologists;
